00Group design team participated in the international design competition of Longmen Mountain Biodiversity Museum and put forward the proposal of ‘Mountains Interweaving’.
The architectural order is taken from the unique nappe structure of Longmen Mountain.
Due to the movement between Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Sichuan Plain, the sheetlike rocks stack together, squeezing together, layer upon layer, finally forming the unique nappe tectonics.
Extract a part from Longmen Mountain, use it to stack the history of this place spatially, then the building takes form. Make a section of this fossil-like museum as the facade of it and shape a window of time.
