As we age and grow older, some of our physical abilities and functions begin to transform. Our minds and bodies have no choice, but to adapt to those physical changes.
Our client who has completely lost his ability to see, wanted an opportunity to try and live as normal life as he once had. Including having a constant sensible income as he and his wife gracefully age in place under the beautiful desert sky.

For this hillside home and guest houses, nestled at the northern foothills of the Joshua Tree National Park, this re-adapted design done 10 years ago, provides for 3 residential units and proposes to take on the solitude of desert living, while celebrating the majesty and warmth of the sun and the serenity of its topography.
