In Bulle, the conversion of a former military arsenal and its elements (Jardins de la Pâla) becomes an opportunity for the creation of a neighborhood surrounded by greenery.
Dedicated entirely to light mobility (including a cycle path of regional importance), confining cars on the perimeter and in the underground garage, the park in which the reactivated existing buildings and new buildings are located is entirely dedicated to green and leisure spaces.
This approach has led to a synergy with the public body to enhance the neighboring municipal road network (new roundabout, tree-lined avenue, public transport stops, ...).
atelier ribo + was commissioned to develop the final project, the tenders and conduct the construction of the park, as well as to pay particular attention to the containment of running maintenance costs and consumption (reduced irrigation and mainly rainwater recovery, low energy consumption lighting , ...).
