A small plot of land in Trnávka with an unsatisfactory location of the original house, this was the factual situation before the design of the family house.

In the study stage, the design underwent various variants of the house, as well as modifications to the mass of the house itself. The most advantageous location was the location at the end of the plot, where there were no shaded areas and the house was sufficiently isolated from the bustle of the street. In front of the plot (by the street) is proposed parking with facilities. The house is oriented to the courtyard. The overlap above the windows provides protection from the sun in summer and lets the low sun into the rooms in winter. The deep space of the living area is illuminated through the elevated space in the living room. The roofs on both buildings will be covered with extensive greenery, the aim is to maintain maximum moisture from precipitation in the area.
