The project is an individual family house within a low-density residential neighbourhood in the island of Gran Canaria. The house is projected on a plot with many challenging aspects including narrow access from one of the corners of the plot and a significant unevenness of land. The living accommodation is organized on three levels that take advantage of the unevenness of the plot by playing with fluid lines that intersect forming bands. The project is in a location with a consistent sunny climate, hence the use of materials in light tones to reflect the natural light and play with the contrast between the blue of the sky and the white volume of the house. The generation of stepped bands offers the possibility of creating outdoor garden spaces on each level. Linear organisation of the layout of the interior generates spaces that can take advantage of natural light. At one end of the living area a staircase is housed in a triple height cylindrical space which facilitates interconnection between the three bands levels.
