This is an early Arts and Crafts home with wonderful proportions and elegant details. The project consisted of realigning the kitchen to the rear wall to allow for better light and outlook in the dining room, designing and upgrading the bathrooms and bedrooms.

Throughout the exterior and interior of the home there were curves on the stone columns, windowsills and internal archways. This design element was subtly incorporated in the marble benchtop, vanities and joinery.

Original parquetry floors were continued throughout the gound floor replacing terracotta tiles in the kitchen. Kitchen lighting was concealed in, and thoughtfully placed on the edges of the dropped ceilings using Viabuzzuno 094 trim to ensure crisp edges and maximum light wash.

Brass trims on the marble island bench, brass doors to the kitchen cupboards and brass handles were all custom designed for the kitchen.
