The house is located in Zanzur, a town in northwestern Libya. The color and texture of the façade render the house a memorial part of Mediterranean architecture.

The house was constructed on an area of 1200 square meters. The project is giving his back to the other buildings’ backs. The large green garden in front of the house recreates a safe atmosphere and filters between the street and the rooms. The plot has only one overlooking the public road. the entrance to the villa was placed and marked by a purposely blind wall.

The main living area is spread over two floors. On the ground floor, the spacious kitchen and dining room grows out to be a pleasant companion to the living room in the middle of the patio.

The upper floor has an open living space and a balcony to watch the sunsets. All other rooms have been built to be around the central courtyard. In Libya's traditional society, the patio is an integral part of local life and culture.

The patio is a safe place to meet, to relax, and to enjoy the community by all the members of the home.

The architect Abdeslam Ushah, the owner of the building, took over the patio feature in his home, controlled the courtyard by a roof, and surrounded high windows to preserve the advantages of an open courtyard right in the heart of the house.

Each house room, like its occupants, has an individual character. The main bedroom has a wardrobe room and a communal balcony to enjoy the wide garden of the house.

The reality implies that the project cannot be understood from the outside. Only Libyan families' hospitality will show the resonance of spaces.

The beige color and marble texture of windows and walls symbolize the deepest intimacy of life. Some outside façade walls are covered in Moroccan ceramic tiles that inspire the identity.
