Galleria XX5 | Stefano Viganò

Galleria XX5 is the re-adaptation of commercial premises in a new place capable of accommodating different uses. The intervention respects the soul of the shell and enhances its existing structure: light and shadow, the warmth of the browns and the freshness of the whites, the ability to create privacy or to be an open space and in direct dialogue with the external environment are all elements that play together. The result is to welcome and create an atmosphere of meeting.

The space consists of two levels: the first is characterized by large windows capable of exhibiting and letting passersby interact with what is happening internally; in the second level, deliberately kept raw, the light and the volumes offer an intimate space in which to create and read the signs of time.

 Galleria XX5 è il riadattamento di un ex locale commerciale in un nuovo luogo capace di accogliere diversi usi. L’intervento rispetta l’anima dell’involucro e ne valorizza la struttura esistente: giocano insieme luci e ombre, il calore dei bruni e la freschezza dei bianchi, la capacità di creare privacy o di essere uno spazio aperto e in dialogo diretto con l’ambiente esterno. Il risultato è quello di accogliere e di creare atmosfere di incontro.

Lo spazio è composto da due livelli: il primo è caratterizzato da grandi vetrate capaci da un lato di esporre e dall’altro di fare interagire i passanti con quanto avviene internamente; nel secondo, mantenuto volutamente grezzo, la luce e i volumi regalano uno spazio intimo nel quale creare e leggere i segni del tempo.”
