Taranis, a hi-tech company, offers a new approach to monitoring agricultural crops by analyzing aerial imagery taken by drones and planes.

The company has developed computerized vision technology enabling aerial imagery of agricultural lands at a submillimeter resolution to identify crop diseases, weeds, insects etc.

Their slogan is:  WE HELP FARMERS GROW!

The company was interested in re-planning and re-designing their 2-story offices (approx. 520 sq.m.) in Ramat HeHayal (adjacent to Tel Aviv).

Since the company is engaged in agriculture, it was clear from the outset that the central motif should be a combination of natural materials and elements alluding to the company’s business, thereby creating a calm and light atmosphere.

The inspiration for the green wall carpet, with the company’s logo, in the public area, came from aerial photos taken by the company when mapping the agricultural areas.

We created a field from different types of artificial vegetation combined with wooden strips to delineate the various areas.

Grass carpets cut into various shapes, combined with wood and climbing plants have been integrated in work areas, creating a sense of sitting in a breathtaking park.

In order to deepen the sense of nature, we added swings which blended perfectly with the décor we had created.

Being able to leave the customary chair behind and, in less than no time, sit on a swing in the playground, is a creative solution for the employees to stretch their limbs and think outside the box.

In the common office space, the managers’ rooms and in the corridors, we introduced touches of greenery which came in the form of climbing plants or as creative wall decoration.
