Re-opening of historical house for art & culture in all shades | Casa Le Bellucci

EN- Opening this family home has been like to bring light into a coffer of beauties. 

Casa Le Bellucci is part of the historical Palazzo Bellucci, in Melizzano heart of Sannio (Campania, IT). Its decorative authenticity reflects the values of the noble family that has lived in there since the first half of 18th century, until the half of the 20th century, when the family moves to the closest cities (Naples and Caserta) and will go back to the countryside only for summer holidays.

After three centuries of generations, the three Bellucci sisters (still property owners of a part of Palazzo Bellucci, called Casa Le Bellucci) reopen the home doors and make of this family jewel a photo shooting and small events set. 

Decorated by late Baroque style we believe it’s a perfect place to enhance art and culture. 

The last year we hosted Sebastiano Maiellaro’s abstarct paintings: the intertwining between the colours, the geometries of abstractionism and the 18th century environment was gorgeous.

In Casa Le Bellucci history and art are in every corner, also in furnitures - designed by an Italian craftsman last century. It’s easy to make a dip into the past, to get lost admiring the mythological figures in the ceiling fresco and to live moments of the magnificence of the Southern Italian 18th century atmosphere. 

This project has stared the last year but is still keeping on, seeking new ideas and collaborations. 

IT- Aprire questa casa di famiglia è stato come portare luce dentro uno scrigno pieno di bellezze. 

Casa Le Bellucci è una parte dello storico Palazzo Bellucci, a Melizzano nel cuore del Sannio, a due passi da Napoli e da Caserta. La sua autenticità, negli elementi decorativi e d'arredo rispecchia i valori della famiglia nobiliare che lo abita dalla prima metà del XVIII secolo fino alla metà del '900, periodo in cui la famiglia si trasferisce definitivamente nelle città più vicine e si recherà nella campagna melizzanese solo per le villeggiature estive.

Dopo oltre tre secoli di generazioni, le tre sorelle Bellucci, ancora proprietarie di una parte di Palazzo- denominata Casa Le Bellucci-, riaprono le porte di casa e fanno di questo gioiello una location adibita a set fotografici e piccoli eventi.

Lo scorso anno abbiamo esposto le opere di Sebastiano Maiellaro; l'intreccio delle forme tipiche degli astratti, dei loro colori e l'ambiente di Casa Le Bellucci è stato magnifico. 

In questo posto l'arte e la storia sono in ogni angolo della casa, anche nell'arredamento, che è stato progettato e realizzato da un artigiano italiano il secolo scorso. Altri elementi d'arredo della famiglia, compresi i pezzi più antichi, sono conservati altrove. 

Il progetto è iniziato lo scorso anno, ma prosegue con tante altre nuove idee, tra cui la possibile installazione di opere di arte contemporanea tra gli ambienti antichi e conservativi della Casa.
