In 2015 a series of five planning images were completed for Lipton Rogers where Martin worked directly with Sir Stuart Lipton and Karen Cook of PLP Architecture. Martin was tasked to firstly; come with new angles to show the tower and secondly; accurately communicate the unusual nature of the glass used. It has the distinct properties of simultaneously being both very reflective and very transparent depending in different areas, depending on the lighting conditions. The result is the work you see here.

The images were used initially by Sir Stuart Lipton to demonstrate to various parties 22 Bishopsgate, and were influential in getting the approval needed to go ahead and green light the project.

All the photography, lighting design, rendering and post-production were completed by Martin. This work was completed whilst Martin was head of Arch Vis at River Film. Shortly after these images were created Martin founded Martin Richardson Images.
