AD&V designed 3 safe and affordable homes for 3 families thanks to Habitat Humanity's mission. This multi- family project is located in the Quintana sector of Río Piedras. The three families that benefited from the opportunity to own their own home are low-income, working-class people, public servants, and senior citizens, who were given the keys to their new home at an official ceremony conducted by the organization. The townhouse-style property occupies about 4,120 square feet. Two of the homes have 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, while the third dwelling is a one-bedroom, one bath unit, designed following the regulations for people with disabilities. The project is close to hospitals, schools, and public transportation. "Since 2014, we have collaborated with Habitat for Humanity of Puerto Rico and it is an honor to be able to provide these families with safe and proper homes, especially after Hurricane Maria that the need for homes became more evident," said Ricardo Álvarez-Díaz, CEO of Álvarez- Díaz & Villalón.
