One-of-a-kind pavilions house the amenities to compliment the experience associated with the longest and fastest zipfly in the World. The site is located in the remote hills of Pokhara, a city of lakes with panoramic views of Annapurna Range. Following the site topography, various spaces of the pavilion are built with the stone excavated from the site itself. A large butterfly-shaped roof hovers over these pods protecting summer sun, harsh monsoon rain and windy conditions often experienced in the locale. The tilt in the roof while buffering against the windward side, opens top the breathtaking views on the leeward side.

The roof also collects rainwater and channels it to the lowest point of the site, where it is stored for reuse. The wild grass and indigenous plants are ubiquitous that aid in restoring the slopes while minimizing the need for hard surfaces. While parts of the pavilion are constructed using stones from the site and by the help of local villagers, the roof structure itself is fabricated off-site and assembled on-site. Each structural element of the roof has been designed keeping in mind the transportation and rapid-erection challenges to meet the project schedule.
