As it is evident, the honesty shown in the project’s architecture allows the viewer to appreciate the general composition of the building, which is the product of an analysis focused on improving the quality of life of the peoplewho will dwell the house with the goal of taking the best possible advantage of the climatic conditions by adequately regulating them.

Located in a suburban residential development south of Guadalajara’s Metropolitan Area, the project is presented in two intersected volumes that answer to a duality of needs. On one hand, the openning between the volumes takes advantage of the good climatic conditions and exposure to the sun in a context with low housing density in order to satisfy the ventilation, illumination and visual needs; on the other hand, the priority of keeping the family’s privacy and moderating the exposure of the service areas to the exterior summarizes the project in the two volumes: one for private uses, the other one for services.

Summarizing, the project comes as a result of a reflective and honest process based on prioritizing the client’s needs and moderating the conditions, both natural and urban of the context in order to represent the project’s identity through it’s volumetry.
