A House for my Niece | Christoph Hesse Architekten
Versmold / Germany / 2018
As a child, everyone dreamt of a Tree house where to read, where to play, where to hide and where to fantasize.
The project “A House for my Niece” made it possible. The small construction realized in the family house´s garden is designed to become a little haven where the children can flee.
The stand is in concrete, while the rest of the structure is made out of wood.
The upper level is reachable by a ladder, through a small door the inner space is accessible. Thanks to the height over the hedge and to the window, the room opens up over the natural surrounding landscape.
