ENG - A breath-taking home spanning over 2.700 sqm, located in the exclusive Bel Air residential neighbourhood of Los Angeles and featuring one of the most striking panoramic views of the whole Californian metropolis.

Occupying a surface area of almost 5.000 sqm and built over three floors, the home offers large terraces, wide open grassy areas and an infinity swimming pool on the ground floor that descends in a waterfall towards the garden.

Soft shades - ranging from cream to sand and cord, with a few hints of colour in the form of rust, green and grey - complement textured surfaces and fine details, breathing life into extremely sophisticated interiors, all perfectly in line with the exclusive identity of this home. A stylish concept, warmed by the use of Caravela and Mocha cream calcareous stones and oak wood on the walls and floors, designed to give the home a unique contemporary look.

A full height gallery-hallway creates a refined, almost museum-like atmosphere, welcoming and accompanying guests towards the main areas of the house. The Lou table by Christophe Delcourt is the protagonist of the setting, set in the middle of the room, and enhanced by several important works of art on the wall. Two of the three floors of the building are crossed by a central hallway, designed to locate the spaces of the home in keeping with a structural form.

On one side, the main floor hosts a large living area and on the other, a smaller, cosier area beside the kitchen. The main space, flooded by the daylight that filters in through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, offers two veritable oases of relaxation: the Lawrence seating system - with the Jacques ottomans and the Benson coffee table - alongside a Jacques three-seater sofa, some Aston armchairs, the Caulfield Gold coffee table and a welcoming Lawrence Clan ottoman.

Instead, the other space, which opens on to the kitchen, hosts a comfortable L-shaped composition of the Hamilton seating system, covered in an elegant fabric in shades of grey, paired with a Leger coffee table and the Calder Bronze console. All the chosen indoor solutions, chairs, sofas and furnishing accessories, are by designer Rodolfo Dordoni.

The large open-air areas afford an exquisite succession of dining and lounge areas, including a winding composition of the Florida seating system, set alongside the Halley Outdoor armchair and, in a more private corner, a pair of Colette Outdoor armchairs covered in a vibrant Khaki Green weave, creating an interesting conversation area.

The exclusive personality of the residence is also visible on the floor below: as well as a series of bedrooms, it also has a wellness centre, theatre, bar, lounge areas and a 10-vehicle garage. The top floor hosts four bedrooms, including the master bedroom, all overlooking large verandas.

The most distinctive element of the design is the elegant rooftop terrace, characterised by a more informal and relaxed atmosphere, with many lounge chairs set around a brazier, and a bar area.

Costruita su una superficie di quasi 5.000 mq., disposta su tre piani, l’abitazione gode di ampie terrazze, generosi spazi verdi e di una piscina a sfioro al piano terra che scende a cascata verso il giardino.

Cromie soft - che spaziano dal crema, al sabbia e al corda, unitamente ad alcuni accenni di colore sul ruggine, verde e grigio - si abbinano a texture materiche e dettagli preziosi, dando vita a interni estremamente sofisticati, in linea con il carattere esclusivo di questa abitazione. Un concept ricercato, riscaldato dall’impiego a parete e a pavimento di pietre calcaree Caravela e Mocha cream ed essenza di quercia, pensato per conferire all’abitazione un aspetto unico e contemporaneo.

Un ingresso-galleria, sviluppato a tutta altezza, suggerisce un’atmosfera raffinata quasi museale, che accoglie ed accompagna gli ospiti verso le aree principali della casa. Protagonista, al suo centro, il tavolo Lou di Christophe Delcourt, impreziosito da alcune importanti opere d’arte posizionate a parete. Due dei tre piani dell’abitazione sono attraversati da un corridoio centrale, progettato per distribuire strutturalmente gli spazi della casa.

Il piano principale ospita, da un lato, un’ampia area living e, dall’altro, un soggiorno più raccolto adiacente alla cucina. Lo spazio principale, inondato dalla luce naturale che filtra attraverso le grandi vetrate a tutta altezza, propone due vere e proprie oasi di relax: il sistema di sedute Lawrence - con i pouf Jacques e il tavolino Benson - accanto a un divano tre posti Jacques, ad alcune poltrone Aston, al tavolino Caulfield Gold e ad un accogliente pouf Lawrence Clan.
L’altro, invece, aperto sulla cucina, ospita una confortevole composizione ad L del sistema di sedute Hamilton, rivestito con un elegante tessuto sui toni del grigio, abbinato ad un tavolino Leger e ad una console Calder Bronze. Tutte le soluzioni indoor scelte, sedute e complementi, sono a firma di Rodolfo Dordoni.

Le grandi aree open-air presentano una successione rarefatta di aree dining e lounge, tra cui una sinuosa composizione del sistema di sedute Florida accanto alla poltrona Halley Outdoor e, in un corner più intimo, una coppia di poltrone Colette Outdoor avvolte da un vivace intreccio in colore Verde Khaki, a ricreare un’interessante area conversazione.

Il carattere esclusivo della residenza vede inoltre al piano inferiore, oltre ad una serie di camere da letto, un centro benessere, un teatro, un bar, aree lounge e un garage per dieci auto. Al livello superiore trovano spazio quattro camere da letto, tra cui la camera padronale, tutte affacciate su verande di considerevoli dimensioni.
Elemento di spicco del progetto, l’elegante terrazza sul tetto caratterizzata da un’atmosfera più informale e rilassata, con numerose sedute lounge attorno ad un braciere ed un’area bar.
