Founded in 1956, Rimadesio has always been part of the industrial furniture district of Brianza, north of Milan.

Technological innovation, design research, enviromental awareness are parts of its exclusive vision of the Italian design, resulting in furniture projects and functional partition of spaces. Modular systems for the living room, bookcases, sliding panels, swing doors, walk-in closets and a wider collection of complements: a design concept born from the partnership with Giuseppe Bavuso, the company designer, that results in concrete solutions for the contemporary living, ranging from domestic spaces to professional settings and big projects.

Defined by a highly architectural interpretation of furniture, the collection stands out for a precise and unmistakable style, in balance between shapes’ precision and unique match of materials and exclusive finishings. Glass and aluminium, main materials of the Rimadesio Collection, go under different chromatic and exterior processes, result of continuous research and tests.
An advantage made possible by an internal management of every production phase, which allows to guarantee control and total reliability of the product’s uniformity and precision. An essential condition for a highly technological company, where every project, mostly custom-made, involves advanced processes, together with exclusive and patented mechanisms, sliding rails, hinges and lighting systems.

But the vocation to innovation also speaks through the continuous research of solutions aimed at improving the qualitative environmental standards. Purpose achieved through the combined use of aluminium and glass, Rimadesio peculiar materials, totally recyclable, treated with advanced painting technologies, without harmful substances and dealed in the final phase with ecological packaging systems aimed at reducing the effect on the environment.

At the center of the production process there is a highly technological system, fully powered by solar energy, coming from innovative photovoltaic plants, with 5250 panels installed on the Giussano headquarter’s roof, that ensure the production of 1300 kWh.

An uncommon commitment to an ecological culture, with continuous investments on development and technological update that allowed Rimadesio to reach important records. Among them, Rimadesio as the first industrial company in Europe to provide itself with a storage plant on a large scale, connected with a new system of lithium batteries able to store the energy surplus, in order to further improve the virtuous process.
