Not far from Athens, along the coasts that overlook the Aegean, the Astir Palace is the posh paradise par excellence. Part of the Four Seasons chain, the iconic and historic hotel is divided into two large sections: Nafsika and Arion, For those who love total silence, on the other hand, isolated bungalows scattered all around complete this scene where luxury prevails. A refuge where you can relax after a visit to the ancient Greek ruins, thanks to the multiple pools and especially thanks to the beaches that act as the background to the hotel’s luxury.

ARION: A LIGHTING DESIGN TO PROVIDE RETRO-CHIC STYLE LIGHT TO THE TEMPLE
Arion represents the Agora of relaxation of the Astir Palace. In fact, various products were selected to light the rooms of the suites where you can relax in the lap of luxury and elegance. The modern architecture of the building is framed by simple and clean lines, an evolution of the retro-chic concept where luxury is the primary leitmotiv. Thee are four exclusive restaurants inside, in addition to a spa inspired by the philosophy of Hippocrates. A temple of wellness and relaxation completed by a private indoor pool.

Linea Light Group supplied a series of products to the Arion hotel, both outdoor and indoor, to decorate this splendid setting on the Aegean. A lighting design that skilfully created the right atmosphere of relaxation, highlighting the details and lines of the space. Great attention was given to lighting the relaxation and wellness area, the feather in the cap of the entire structure. Hall, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna and pool are completely illuminated with particular care in the spirit of total visual comfort. The flexibility of ​Rubber​, a​ ​LED​ ​strip entirely coated in UV ray stabilised polyurethane, highlights the indoor spaces with an even luminous emission. Perfect for the SPA, it is resistant to damp environments and jets of water. PU_C​ accompanies the profiling of the spaces, a strip with flexible and adhesive circuit. Positioned indoors and outdoors is the Orma uplight with its reduced size and high lighting performance.

An outstanding light mixture and excellent mechanical resistance make Orma the most versatile and useful product for lighting the areas of hotels with these characteristics. To complete the outdoor area, ​Suelo Underwater​, an uplight that is almost invisible but extremely high performance, featuring the AquaStop® system and an IP rating of 68, and Myia​, a triangular sconce with 90° optics and a right-angle light beam for uniform lighting of the hotel’s outdoor area, provide a touch of timeless class.
