AmaRe - Reuse Center | Claudia Coppa

Il centro di riuso è un progetto sperimentale che nasce con lo scopo di intercettare oggetti e materiali prima che diventino rifiuti e sottoporli ad un processo di upcycling. La struttura, che riflette il pensiero del "life cycle thinking" a 360°, ospita un centro di raccolta, un laboratorio artigianale ed un padiglione di esposizione e vendita che si sviluppano intorno ad una piazza, nuovo polo di aggregazione di quartieri che ne sono privi. Tutti i materiali di realizzazione sono riciclati e/o ricilcabili a fine vita dell'edificio, ed insieme al fotovoltaico integrato in copertura ed all'asfalto fotocatalitico, riducono al minimo l'impatto ambientale.

The reuse center is an experimental project that was created with the aim of intercepting objects and materials before they become waste and subject them to an upcycling process. The structure, which reflects the idea of "life cycle thinking" at 360 °, houses a storege center, a craft workshop and an exhibition and sales pavilion that develop around a square, a new center of aggregation of neighborhoods that dont'have one. All the construction materials are recycled and/or recyclable at the end of the building's life, and with the integrated photovoltaic roof and the photocatalytic asphalt, they minimize the environmental impact.
