The city of Wujiang is growing fast and it’s main direction of  development put it into a close relation with the Tai Hu lake. This relation with the water is the strongest cultural identity of the entire area and of the Wujiang culture. Another very strong identity image that connect the city into its culture is the Silk production, being since several century the first and main production site of the entire China. Starting from this two images, the water and the silk, the design concept takes shape in a strong and unique way. Tring to mitigate the emergent problem of the water pollution of the lake, that can affect athe potential of the area and also create many sanitary problems to the people, the first idea is tring to find a way to clean as much as possible the water of this side of the lake and rebuild all the environment systems. Choosing  well known phytodepurations tecniques the design strategy tries to achieve this goal. The formal shape of all the project structure is taken from the silk, its geometrical and organic shape is the best solution to strongly connect the project to the location, water front design through the silk structure.
