Our clients have lived in this Sycamore Park charmer for over 25 years. Having raised 2 children, they are new empty-nesters. They desired a modernized home to include a new top floor master suite with views of Mt. Tam and a reorganized main living level to create a larger kitchen/family/dining room for entertaining. We reworked the original 2 bedrooms into the new living room while adding a powder room. They also desired an enlarged front porch to improve the entry sequence into the house and an update to the stucco exterior into an updated board and shingle contemporary bungalow. We added new windows throughout to include energy efficiency and all new hardwood floors as a modern update.
