KNAUF-HOUSE | Architects Union

KNAUF is a German, family-owned company with an international reach. Knauf international group came to Russia with its own production in 1993. Today KNAUF in Russia is 17 new or completely reconstructed industrial enterprises in which 38 production lines are operating, producing 1400 items products.
To accommodate all of its sales and marketing structures in one the premise was acquired shopping center near the head of the Russian an enterprise in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region. The challenge was to place all these structures in one complex and achieve synergy in the promotion of building materials of various groups: gypsum building materials for dry construction and dry construction gypsum mixtures, ceiling systems, insulation materials and plastering equipment.

Knauf's office is located in the territory of its own plant in the city of Krasnogorsk in several administrative buildings. But there was an exception: Knauf Insulation's office was located in Moscow. In 2017, it was decided to create a single KNAUF-HOUSE office within walking distance of the plant near the main entrance.

The main line in the office design was a demonstration of the possibility of using KNAUF products, creating a bright and comfortable space for employees. All work areas have acoustic solutions from KNAUF-Acoustics sheets with different perforations. A self-point is organized in the lobby: an egg-shaped capsule made of Knauf-sheet demonstrates the possibility of its use in complex curved surfaces.
