The Dorchester Hotel in London is one of the world’s most prestigious and historic hotels, and its name is linked to a great many renowned artists and personalities both from London and around the world.

Designed by the architect Alex Kravetz, we created the brass balustrade at the entrance to the Ballroom, which replicates the Art Deco style of the interior design.

The most distinctive elements are the brass handrail, the newel with hand-carved grooves and the thin decorative drape that runs along the balustrade.

The balustrade was completed with an antique gold-painted finish.

THE DETAILS

Closer inspection reveals the fine aesthetic craftsmanship and attention to detail paid to the wrought brass decorations, entirely in keeping with the hotel's standards of excellence.
