This small 80 square meters Roman Apartment, located in the heart of the Historical center, has been transformed into a modern living space while preserving its original architectural characteristics and flair.
 
A gentle palette is the fil rougeof the interior design.
The pastel colors and the neutral oak floor create a warm environment that dilate the space bringing the eye from one room to the other.
The ancient wooden ceiling has been restored in order to show its original color that now matches the floor.
For the master bedroom the architect has designed a built in wardrobe with back lit plexiglas doors representing the Monet dancers.
A light grey resin has been chosen for the bathroom walls that fold into a long shelf used as the sink base.
 

Questo piccolo appartamento romano di 80 mq, situato nel cuore di Trastevere, è stato trasformato in uno spazio abitativo moderno preservando al tempo stesso le sue peculiari caratteristiche architettoniche.
E’ caratterizzato da una palette cromatica basata sui colori pastello che si estende in tutto l’appartamento creando, assieme al parquet in rovere naturale, ambienti caldi e avvolgenti.
L’antico soffitto in legno è stato restaurato riportando alla luce il suo colore originario che si accorda con quello del pavimento.
Nella camera da letto padronale l’architetto ha disegnato un armadio su misura in cartongesso e pannelli di legno e plexiglass retroilluminati che riproducono le celebri ballerine di Monet.
Nel bagno è stata scelta come rivestimento una resina grigia che ricopre interamente le pareti e la lunga mensola d’appoggio del lavabo.
