The COI Vienna | Who Cares?! Design

The COI Vienna is the first premium training facility for CrossFit, Weightlifting, Strength & Conditioning in Austria.

CrossFit is promoted as both a physical exercise philosophy and a competitive fitness sport, incorporating elements from high-intensity interval training and other exercises.

Located in Vienna’s second district, the facility is a large open space right by the Danube river, with high class equipment and direct access to Vienna’s marina for outdoor workouts by the water.

The location originally served as a docking terminal for tourists and later as an office space. COI expanded it by building an urban space for clients, that not only care about their workouts but also about the design of their gym.

Beside a training section the facility offers a sauna with a view throughout the Danube. After the workout sessions the bar offers the clients various options to boost their proteins.
