CASA MUSHA

Casa Musha is a residential home located within a gated community on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, on a plot overlooking a lagoon.

This 650m2 project develops in section, obtaining three levels of uses. The social area is divided in two. One sector includes a double living area and a space for casual dining with the kitchen located on an elevated level gaining the best views towards the lagoon while the other sector on the ground floor combines a barbecue area connected with the pool.

This way, the loudest spaces such as the garden, pool and barbecue area are together with the guest bedrooms, while the master and children's bedrooms are located on the third floor to ensure privacy and comfort.

With a strong commitment to materiality, its exterior is entirely covered in pieces of jura stone, a singular statement which is elegant and inviting at the same time.

We arrive at the entrance door after walking on jura stone steps that contrast with the intense foliage of the plants that surround the path and which connects interior and exterior spaces. The pivoting main door is cladded with lapacho wood and connects interior and exterior green areas.

A wall covered from floor to ceiling in lapacho wood, hides the doors to the service areas and invites you towards the main staircase.

The circulation of the house is surrounded with green areas, steel details and a glazed roof to catch natural light.

For the interiors a warm palette of materials was used, working with jura stone, lapacho wood cladding, wood flooring and black steel details.

The barbecue area, located on the same level as the swimming pool, has two glass openings that open completely, merging interior with exterior. With a rustic look, the sanded lapacho walls hide doors and storage spaces with black iron grills facing opposite.

The barbecue area and infinity pool located towards the lagoon, form the space of relaxation for the guests of the house.

The guest bathroom is covered in pieces of black granite fixed with relieve and steel details and has a unique sink made of tropical marble. A perforated metallic panel filters the light and gives privacy to the area.

The large master suite and its bathroom are visually connected. The division is resolved in a wood frame with exotic plants providing privacy.

A combination of brown forest marble for the shower with jura stone flooring, lacquered furniture and lapacho wood cladding creates a unique feeling in harmony with the plants and the glazed roof.

All the furniture and finishes are designed and tailored especially for each space, created as unique customized pieces generating a unique integrated design.

This house amazes us at every step, with its originality, warmth and attention to details.
