Restaurant Mas Falgarona | Júlia Brunet

The boutique hotel Mas Falgarona is located in a XVII century typical farmhouse at the heart of Alt Empordà (Catalunya, Spain), in a privileged place surrounded by olive trees and corn fields near Figueres city.

At the restaurant and hall the interior design has focused on adapting the spaces with the sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere required for a boutique hotel, without loosing its original farmhouse architectural identity elements as vaults, huge walls and the original clay floor tiles.

The objective has been to merge the original architecture and pre‐existing elements with a respectful interior design that pursues getting pure lines and a comfortable and modern atmosphere using neutral tones and warm and cosy light and materials.

In that way,the furniture, which comes from the brands Pedrali (tables and chairs), Flos and Mooi (illumination) and Agape and Mutina (bathroom space), has been chosen to stand out the antique and unique elements of the building.
