Hotel Pasadena | DIN Interiorismo
Hotel Pasadena city / Mexico / 2018
This hotel takes its name from the Californian city famous for the Rose Parade. Avoiding falling into this well-known cliché DIN interiorismo investigates the history of this interesting community and discovers "Playhouse" which translates in Spanish: Casa de Juegos marking the line that will define the interior design proposal for this hotel.
The playful, everything relating to playing, leisure, entertainment or fun, is the inexhaustible source of inspiration to define a recreative concept, an interior space in which characteristic features of parks invite to release tensions fleeing from worries and daily routine to yield pleasure, fun and enjoyment.
The hotel has 24 suites and a master suite, where everything is motion. A reflective plafond doubles the space and multiplies the points of view of each room. Some handrails were installed, recalling playgrounds dexterity games and a 5 meters large sofa with undulating shapes crowned with a large padded sphere.
The glass box accommodating the shower is extremely protagonist, offering an additional point to extend the game or relaxation. The color palette is mainly purple, contrasted with orange and blue details and the neutrality of the grays on the floor.
