destilat developed the design concept for the TV studio of UPC, an Austrian telecommunications provider. This concept consists of only two basic elements: a curved UPC logo that appears to levitate, with an integrated blue screen, as well as an elliptical desk on a mobile and equally elliptical base.
These two elements were embedded in a matt white room where the floor and the walls seem to merge seamlessly and therefore seem to dissolve to a large extent.
This concept creates a very neutral and restrained ambiance, providing an ideal and calm stage for UPC’s concise corporate design.
