SHARE Warsaw 2018, International Architecture and Engineering Forum will take place on 15th November and brings together principal and senior architects from leading practices to discuss and gain inspiration from each other.


The lectures are concentrated on the present and future, innovation in architecture and engineering, on explorations of new materials and technologies for designing a smart and sustainable built environment.


SHARE Warsaw 2018 act as an effective platform for networking, business, inspiration, and exchange of ideas and transfer of know-how.


Highlights SHARE Warsaw 2018


The event will gather a series of outstanding speakers from 8 countries: United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Bulgaria, Denmark, Poland, Romania to celebrate architectural excellence through their most recent internationally acclaimed projects.


International debate on the topic of Urban Revitalization;


The SHARE forum will be chaired by arch. Andrzej BULANDA, architect, designer and partner of Bulanda & Mucha Architects. He is the co-author of multiple award-winning competition projects and completed works. Andrzej is the co-winner of SARP Honorary Award in 2015. He was Visiting Professor at Graduate School of Design, Harvard University and at Penn State University.


arch. Ian RITCHIE, special guest of SHARE Warsaw 2018, architect, poet, writer, artist, founder of Ian Ritchie Architects, Royal Academician and member of the Akademie der Kunste. He has chaired many international juries including the RIBA Stirling Prize and, during his practice, he has won more than 70 national and international awards;


ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS, Senior Associate Arch. Maurizio Meossi;


John McELGUNN, Partner ROGERS STIRK HARBOUR + PARTNERS UK. John has been with Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners since 2001. He has worked on numerous projects across various sectors including the Leadenhall building, the Library of Birmingham, One Hyde Park, Neo Bankside as well as a number of national and international competitions. John is currently working on new conservation and collections facility for the Musée du Louvre in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais.


Serban ȚIGĂNAȘ, General Secretary of International Union of Architects;


Xander VERMEULEN WINDSANT (The Netherlands) principal architect & director of XVW ARCHITECTUUR and the 2017 Winner of EU "Mies van der Rohe" Award will share with us some of his experience in building residential projects, both private and collective;


Mark SUTTON VANE (UK) - Principal at SUTTON VANE ASSOCIATES one of the top 10 lighting designers worldwide, He designs lighting for retail, residential, commercial, historic, museum, hotel, and leisure projects.


Julian WEYER, Partner C.F. MØLLER ARCHITECTS DENMARK.He is a frequent lecturer worldwide and author of articles and book publications. Partner C.F. MØLLER ARCHITECTS - 2017 World Architecture Festival (WAF) - Higher Education & Research, Winner, with working on projects in Denmark, Germany and the UK as well as worldwide.


Krzysztof INGARDEN, Professor AFMKU AFM KRAKOW UNIVERSITY POLAND Krzysztof Ingarden, born in Wrocław in 1957, educated in Poland and Japan, started his career in Tokyo (1984-5) and New York (1986), and he is a professor at Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts, AFM Krakow University and the president of Ingarden & Ewy. AWARD winner of 2017: Meetings Star Award - the best convention center in Central and Eastern Europe;


Oskar GRABCZEWSKI, Owner OVO GRABCZEWSCY ARCHITEKCI POLAND Oskar Grąbczewski studied architecture in the Technical University of Silesia in Gliwice 1988-1993. From 1993 till 1995 he was working by IBA Emscher Park in Dortmund, Duesseldorf and Berlin. Awards Mies van der Rohe Prize, Nomination 2016: SARP Prize of the Year, Nomination 2015: Architecture Award for The Best Buildings in Poland.


Paolo BRESCIA, Co-founder, Director OBR - OPEN BUILDING RESEARCH ITALY In 2000 Paolo Brescia and Tommaso Principi established the collective OBR Open Building Research to investigate new ways of contemporary living, creating a design network among Milan, such as Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, Aalto University, Academy of Architecture of Mumbai and Mimar Sinan Fine Art University. In 2017 they won the Premio Urbanistica INU, Milano and American Architecture Prize for Architectural Design in 2016, New York.


Landscape architect and urban planner, Rainer Schmidt - Professor of Landscape Architecture and Design at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, the winner in 2017 of The American Architecture Prize for Medium Firm of the Year;


Tomasz KLIMEK, President QLAB - Laboratory of Light Poland, He has been in lighting business since 1992. He graduated technical sciences and post-graduate management & marketing. Then he completed lighting education at Bartenbach Academy. Former professional musician and composer and nowadays deeply involved both in ski racing and tennis activities. AWARDS: Best Renovation of 2016. Illumination of Silesian Opera in Bytom.

Borys CZARAKCZIEW Architekt IARP, president Gpp Grupa Projektowa sp. z o.o., member of the Board and Plenipotentiary for international matters, National Chamber of Polish Architects An architect, the author of over 125 architectural designs of different scale and subject – from the renovation of the historical complex of the Grey House in Cracov up to the system of the Cracow Fast Tram. The designer of many buildings and housing, public buildings and offices.


Zbigniew MACKÓW Principal MACKOW ARCHITECTS POLAND, He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Wrocław University of Technology (1996) and the Kingston University School of Architecture in London (1994).
