Since 1945, İmren Sweet Shop has been providing service by the third generation of the store owners for its distinguished customers in Antalya, Turkey. In 2016, the sweet shop redesigned by Architect Kemal Serkan Tokis (KST Architecture& Interiors).The store located along with the Historical Clock Tower in Kalekapisi district which is the most renown touristic spot in Antalya city.

The project details explained by Kst Architecture & Interiors as follows:

'' When defining the new store concept, we considered keeping the nostalgic aspect of the store along with the nowadays design concept. Due to reputation of the store since the time of the Ottoman Empire, we wanted for current and new customers to feel the store's authenticity when they tasted traditional Turkish Delight and the other delicious candies in the 24 square meters store.

We aimed the strenghten the feeling by applying nostalgic tiles flooring. Also, we tried to give the old way of facade impression along with using marine wood to strenghten against any kind of external effects when redesigning the store. And the concept of the project strenghted by using custom manifactured architectural lightings, glass and brushed yellow metal.

Likewise, Kst Architecture & Interiors designed a new logo for the store by having the reflection of Turkish delight cutaway view. Furthermore, the new logo image used as a door handle of the store.

Finally, we put to use white lacquer paint furnitures to be able to give the impression usage area speciousness.''
