With nearly 500 employees and a turnover of around 100 million euros, Lano Carpets is today one of the most important producers of high-quality carpets. In Harelbeke, the company’s original production site, a new 2,500 m² office building was erected.

The new headquarters with the integrated showroom pursue the goal of pooling competences,
optimising internal structures and meeting the demands of high customer orientation in analogy to the outer facade also inwardly. For this purpose, modern and functional workplaces were to be created for the Lano Carpets employees in the striking new building with its compact architecture.

A welcoming showroom is designed to invite customers and guests of the company to linger. On the upper storey of the new building complex, the project in parallel focused on the conception of an open office landscape, accompanied by adjoining individual offices. In addition, the work
environment was to be employee-oriented and ergonomic. This requirement was optimally met by using the electromotive solution of the workplace family CREW from PALMBERG.
