“Residenze Donzellini 43” è il progetto di ristrutturazione di un edificio storico nel centro di Orzinuovi (Bs).
L’operazione, curata dallo studio ZDA| Zupelli Design Architettura, ha come obiettivo quello di introdurre nuove qualità architettoniche in un edificio del tardo Novecento caratterizzato da un aspetto datato e decadente.
 Il fulcro compositivo dell’intervento è la reinterpretazione in chiave contemporanea del fronte principale, affacciato su via Donzellini. Essosi delinea con decisione secondo criteri di pulizia ed estremo ordine, conferiti all’osservatore dall’elegante contrasto cromatico scelto per evidenziare il gioco di volumi creato delle logge e dagli elementi in aggetto.
La volontà di attuare una rottura stilistica in contrasto con la cortina degli edifici residenziali attigui, si alimenta anche dalla scelta di ricalibrare le bucature esistenti e di sostituire i parapetti originali conelementi in vetrovisivamente più “leggeri”.
 L’interno dell’edificio segue fedelmente la linearità del prospetto esterno, delineando un continuum coerente. I sette appartamenti, ricavati su tre piani, si configurano in tre tagli differenti: bilocale, trilocale e quadrilocale.
Seppur diversi nella loro specifica composizione, gli appartamenti sono accomunati dalla medesima impronta stilistica in cui arredi eleganti, contrasti cromatici ed elementi decorativi caratteristici contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera unica e armonica. Completano il fil rouge progettualele finiture, curate al dettaglio: dalle porte raso-muro agli infissi in alluminio cielo-terra, dalla pavimentazione interamente in parquet ai sanitari di pregio, ogni elemento collabora alla definizione di uno stile unico, ma allo stesso tempo adattabile alle diverse esigenze della committenza.
 “Residenze Donzellini 43”affronta, con tutti i vincoli che una struttura già realizzata impone, la difficile pratica della rielaborazione di un manufatto secondo la visione contemporanea caratteristica dello studio ZDA | Zupelli Design Architettura.

“ Donzellini 43" is the renovation project of a historical building in the centre of Orzinuovi (Bs).The operation, curated by ZDA| Zupelli Design Architettura, aims to introduce new architectural qualities in a building of the late twentieth century characterized by a dated and decadent. The compositional fulcrum of the work is the contemporary reinterpretation of the main front, overlooking Via Donzellini. It is clearly outlined according to criteria of cleanliness and extreme order, given to the observer by the elegant chromatic contrast chosen to highlight the play of volumes created by the loggias and by the projecting elements.The desire to implement a stylistic break in contrast to the curtain of adjacent residential buildings is also fuelled by the choice to recalibrate the existing holes and replace the original parapets with glass elements visually "lighter". The interior of the building faithfully follows the linearity of the external elevation, outlining a coherent continuum. The seven apartments, built on three floors, are configured in three different sizes: two-room, three-room and three-room. Although the apartments are different in their specific composition, they share the same stylistic imprint in which elegant furnishings, chromatic contrasts and characteristic decorative elements contribute to creating a unique and harmonious atmosphere. The project's fil rouge is completed by the finishes, with attention to detail: from the satin-wall doors to the sky-shore aluminium frames, from the flooring entirely in parquet to the prestigious sanitary wares, each element contributes to the definition of a unique style, but at the same time adaptable to the different needs of the client. Donzellini 43" faces, with all the constraints that a structure already built imposes, the difficult practice of reworking a product according to the contemporary vision characteristic of the studio ZDA | Zupelli Design Architecture.
