PROGETTO PER UN PICCOLO EDIFICIO RESIDENZIALE DELICATAMENTE POSATO SUL SUOLO NATURALE E CARATTERIZZATO DA SOLUZIONI INNOVATIVE DI INVOLUCRO.
 
Casa AA si trova immersa nel verde della campagna bolognese, con un’invidiabile e intimo rapporto con una natura rigogliosa di cui è parte integrante. E’ uno scrigno di cristallo e legno frutto del restyling di un piccolo edificio rurale pre-esistente del quale conserva il paradigmatico aspetto formale (tetto a capanna), reinterpretato secondo canoni contemporanei con una struttura lignea continua, leggera e aerea che funge anche da elemento filtrante dei raggi solari. Questa seconda pelle permette infatti di avere sempre un contatto diretto con l’esterno ma salvaguarda nel contempo la privacy degli ospiti di famiglia a cui questa piccola abitazione è dedicata. Al piano terra, la zona giorno si sviluppa a pianta libera e si proietta verso l’esterno con grandi vetrate; al piano primo la zona notte è pensata come un parallelepipedo sospeso nel vuoto, mentre il resto degli spazi sono a doppia altezza in modo da accentuare la percezione dello spazio nella sua interezza.

House AA is located in the green countryside outside Bologna, with an enviable and intimate relationship with a luxuriant nature of which it is an integral part. It’s a treasure trove of glass and wood result of the restyling of a small rural pre-existing building which retains the paradigmatic formal aspect (gable roof), reinterpreted according to contemporary canons with a continues wooden structure, light and air that also serves as element filtering sunlight. This second skin makes it possible to have always a direct contact with the outside but at the same time protects the privacy of the guests of the family to which this small house is dedicated. On the ground floor, the living area is open plan and is projected to the outside with large windows; on the first floor the sleeping area is designed as a box suspended in the air, while the rest of the spaces are double-height to accentuate the perception of space in its entirety.
