LA CASA, PREFABBRICATA IN LEGNO, NASCE DALL’INCONTRO DI DUE VOLUMI PURI DI DIVERSA GRANDEZZA.
 
La casa, prefabbricata in legno, nasce dall’incontro di due volumi puri: il più piccolo contiene la zona living, il secondo accoglie l’ingresso, l’area servizi e la zona notte al piano primo. Gli ambienti del volume maggiore si articolano attorno a un grande vuoto a doppia altezza illuminato dall’alto da un ampio lucernario: questo è il cuore della casa da cui è possibile godere della vista del cielo e delle sue infinite variazioni. Una terrazza grande quanto il volume minore è accessibile dalla camera matrimoniale, mentre al piano terra un deck in legno arricchisce il giardino.

La struttura della parete è costituita da montanti in legno con coibentazione in cellulosa e sughero, pannelli portanti in fibra di legno, intonaco o, nel caso delle porzioni con parete ventilata, membrana traspirante, listellatura e tavolato in pino. Sul tetto, prefabbricato in legno lamellare fortemente isolato ed impermeabilizzato, trova posto un impianto fotovoltaico e solare termico.

The house, a prefabricated wooden structure, was created from two distinct parts: The smallest containing the living area, and the second, the entrance area. A utility area and the bedrooms are on the first floor. The bigger living areas are positioned around a large empty area with high ceilings with a large skylight: this is the heart of the home, an area where you can enjoy light and appreciate the view of the sky. A terrace, the size of the smaller living area, leads from the master bedroom on the first floor, while on the ground floor a large wooden deck enhances the view of the gardens.

The wall is made of wooden posts with cellulose and cork insulation, bearing panels are made of wood fiber, for the plaster or ventilated walls a protective coat of paint was added, and wooden planks are in pine. The roof features prefabricated laminated wood which is highly insulated and there are photovoltaic and solar thermal systems installed.
