How we mount a TV | Cloud9 Smart

Mounting a TV seems like a simple request but, like with a lot of seemingly simple projects, it can be quite complex to do well. Careful planning is required to delight the client, and design well. Here is our process:

First, an engineer visits the site, takes dimensions, discusses the clients expectations. Then, back at the office, the engineer documents entire solution including all parts, pieces, required wiring, paths, and custom equipment. Next, the engineer creates a doc set complete with a rendering. Then we order the parts. For this project we ordered a custom mount from Future Automation to space the TV more than 4ft from side wall to give the client their requested mounting position.
Next our PM works with contractor for bracing, wall support, electrical and wire runs, patching, painting. Then, three technicians and one PM are on-site to mount the 75” TV more than 6ft off the ground. Finally, our clean and tidy installation delights the customer!
