Easyhome Sino-Italy Top Design Center | Stefano Boeri Architetti

Beijing’s Easyhome Sino-Italy Top Design Center is a new commercial space concept, devoted to the Culture of Design in its many and various aspects: from technological research to design development up to the  choice of materials.

Located on the top floor of a mall,  featuring a wide range of high quality furniture, this space has been specifically conceived as a design, interior design and architecture display of Italian excellences but, at the same time and in a broader sense, actually and ultimately intended as a cultural and design bridge between Italy and China.

The exhibition programme revolves around the set up of a series of  apartment-types, showing  different living practices interpreted by the great masters of Italian design. The character of the interiors is also defined by the choice of  finishings and materials, typical of the Italian tradition, like Calacatta marble and various fine wood essences. The mineral nature of the indoor spaces is enhanced, by contrast, by the qualities of the open patios, featuring large bamboo tubs which transfer the green breath into the interior.
