Flavia was born and raised in this house. She later decided to return and move back in. Every centimeter of this small dwelling is well-organised and perfectly matched with the rest.

Built in the early 1900s, the abode exuded the traditional features of Piedmontese rural houses, with its vaulted ceiling and cotto tiles.

The renovation led to a significant alteration of spaces, necessary to adapt to the demands of modernity while combining functionality and comfort.

The interior becomes essential.

The light floods the rooms and warms the typical geometries of these spaces.

The tiles draw different graphic patterns in every room and welcome guests with their vintage motifs, reinterpreted from a modern point of view.

The ceiling vaults accompany and gently balance the dynamic rhythm of the floors.

The pastel-coloured couch, perfectly juxtaposed with the other tones, stands out as the main character of the living room and faces the wooden graphic stroke, that matches the window fixtures and accompanies guests in the discovery of spaces.

The bedroom, located on the North side, is the most intimate space and abounds with minimalism, showing a more traditional and relaxing pattern.

In the kitchen, where the space is enlarged by a brighter colour range, the table-seats duo winks at Michelangelo Pistoletto (Lunch Painting - 1965).

Flavia è nata e cresciuta in questa casa ed è qui che ha deciso di ritornare a vivere.

Un’abitazione di dimensioni contenute, in cui ogni centimetro viene gestito al meglio ed in perfetto accordo con il resto.

La dimora, di inizio ‘900, presentava i tipici tratti delle abitazioni della campagna piemontese, con soffitto a volte e pavimenti in cotto.

La ristrutturazione ha portato uno stravolgimento completo degli spazi, necessario per adattarsi alle esigenze della modernità al fine di unire funzionalità e comfort.

L’arredamento si fa essenziale.

La luce inonda le stanze e scalda le geometrie che caratterizzano gli spazi.

Le mattonelle dei pavimenti disegnano pattern grafici differenti in ciascuna stanza, ed accolgono l’ospite con motivi vintage, rivisitati in chiave moderna.

Le volte dei soffitti accompagnano e bilanciano dolcemente il ritmo dinamico dei pavimenti.

Il divano, in tinte pastello perfettamente giustapposte alle restanti tonalità, si erge a protagonista del salotto e volge lo sguardo al tratto grafico in legno che, in tinta con gli infissi, accompagna l’ospite nella scoperta degli ambienti.

Sul lato nord lo spazio più intimo, la camera da letto, anch’essa ricca di essenzialità e con un pattern grafico più tradizionale, rilassante. 

In cucina, dove lo spazio è ampliato dalla palette molto chiara, l’accoppiata tavolo-sedute fa l’occhiolino a Michelangelo Pistoletto (Quadro da pranzo - 1965).
