Established in 1997 as an independent auditing firm, Audirevi is an emerging Italian company operating in the industry of professional services addressed to large companies and SMEs. Audirevi is a member of the Nexia network and one of the top 10 Italian accountancy and auditing firms by turnover.

For their new headquarters, spanning over 700 sq.m on two floors, Nexia Audirevi selected architects Enrico & Sara Cleva to design an innovative space for their over 70 staff, in a prestigious location close to Piazza del Duomo in Milan.

The three main branches of the company: the Auditing department, the Transaction Services and the Professional Training School have their own dedicated separate spaces, and shared infrastructures. Almost all the office’s partitions are in transparent glass, and the space is visible from most of the viewpoints in its entirety.

Biophilic design and Well Building concepts have been guidelines of the design process, in a special interpretation of the designers. Their references are in fact deeply founded in the Italian culture, but opened to the North American best practices, and with a strong curiosity for the oriental building disciplines such as the Indian Vasthu.

The project’s main concept is a wave of nature that pervades the office infiltrating from outside. The windows, opened to the city and the sky, let nature enter the indoor space. Nature is both real, with more than 100 plants over the two floors, and also recalled through patterns, colors and finishings, blue and green, on the floor and on the walls. Nature has to be exceptionally present in contemporary indoor spaces, specially in offices, for its proven beneficial impact on human well being, on productivity and stress level mitigation. The green and blue waves, which span over the main side of the two floors, are made of Interface’s carpeting, cut to size on-site and made of recycled materials.

At the 5th floor is the big open space office for the staff, as well as the accounting department, two meeting rooms and the break area.

The prominent color of the the 5th floor is green, which relates to balance and harmony, absolutely needed during long hours of concentration. Green is also the color of growth, spring and renewal, to restore occupants’ depleted energy. It is the color of prosperity and abundance, of finance and material wealth. This color is perfect for the productive heart of the company.

At the 6th floor, are the partners’ offices, the board room, the marketing office and the training school. The main boardroom is a 24 seat meeting space, where two tables on wheels, designed by Philippe Starck, have the flexibility to be turned into a school class for professional training.

The leading color of the 6th floor is blue, which is one of trust, responsibility, honesty and loyalty. Blue is reliable and responsible, exhibiting an inner security and confidence. It is conservative and predictable, a safe and non-threatening color. At the same time blue is persistent and determined to succeed in whichever endeavors it pursues, like the executives leading the company.
