The flat on Krasnaya Presnya district | Guseva-style

The four-room 64 square meters flat is situated in the historical building constructed in 1904. The original layout of the flat was fairly convenient, but relatively small rooms with high ceilings bore vague resemblance of wells.

In order to improve the proportions of the rooms, the author of the project has slightly altered the wall placement and the ceiling level in some of them. Mirror panels were also used to visually expand the rooms. The architect placed a large square panel, built of aged mirrors, opposite to the bio fireplace in the living room and an arrangement of regular mirrors with facets in the corridor.

Here, just like in many other projects, Natalia Guseva combines antique furniture with custom objects and her own watercolors. The wardrobes in the bedroom are decorated with watercolors, depicting the characters of the Italian dell'arte comedy. The furniture in the kitchen is also made according to the designer's sketches.
