Rodana Park | Singularq Architecture Lab

The Rodana´s park gives the township a recreational park and square, turning the area into the busiest part of the town.
With a tight budget the area is rehabilitated uniting it with of the urban part.
The forest zone project is a path through cutbacks and turns that moves through the main existing native species, becoming a small botanical garden.
The intervention sections show the transition between the forest and urban area, where the terraces are filled with trees according to their location with respect to the urban área and the wood, scenically solving the Rodana´s bond.

El parque difumina los límites entre la ciudad y la montaña. Es una sensible articulación entre la naturaleza y la civilización, entre lo salvaje y lo organizado.

Este espacio verde se diseña con unas terrazas escalonadas en la topografía del terreno. Es un bonito recorrido por el paisaje, es una explosión de colores rojizos como el atardecer.

En las cotas más bajas y la zona más vinculada a la ciudad, se presentan algunas zonas pavimentadas que se desdibujan con el terreno natural. Estas explanadas son espacios libres con pérgolas de madera para descansar, refugiarse del sol o contemplar las vistas. Las cotas más altas se visten con muros de piedra caliza y barandillas de madera que se mimetizan con el entorno.

Llegados al final del camino, haz una pausa y, mira el horizonte escondiéndose en el Mediterráneo.
