DON, the Japanese word for Desire, was born as a soft-spoken tribute to this culture, proposing a cuisine that approaches rather traditional recipes, while offering a space that pushes resolutely towards the opposite limit.

The rigorous geometry of the sushi counter, the graphic motifs of the wallpaper to the ceiling, the alternation of raw materials and precious details produce an unusual visual impact, that is distant from any traditional or ethnic references.

The use of lighting represents here the core element of breakage, fragmenting the space according to an obsessive play of orthogonal lines and reflected surfaces.
