Away from the historic center, where the urban fabric fades, l’Olivar Gran is, today, a peripheral zone still little consolidated. The intention is to create a cohesive neighborhood around its own center of sport. We want the building to be dynamic and connected to the surrounding neighborhood.
Our strategy is to divide the complex in order to create public spaces between the pieces that generate life. The project is not a compact building, a box introvert to practice sports, but a set of disjointed buildings organized along a movement marked by a more general strategy.
This strategy allows operation for parts and / or flexible joint and this favors the introduction of other applications.
The group operates a centralized, distributed with a single access routes. The entrance building is empty sport uses and becomes almost a multipurpose room. There we place the space bar so that there is the possibility of transform it in a café with a more ambitious social relations until the district is consolidated and displays alternatives.
The sports buildings are a source of great economic and energy expenditure. The thermal conditions should be a rational being limited weather protection. The aim is to achieve virtually zero consumption through three parameters: a high level of efficiency, intensive use of renewable energies and research for renewable products produced nearby. Achieve efficiency by reducing energy demand through the operation of the greenhouse building. To ensure thermal comfort, all have different ventilation systems that work based on day / night and winter / summer dichotomies. Lluny del centre històric, on el teixit urbà es desdibuixa, l’Olivar Gran és, avui en dia, una zona perifèrica encara poc consolidada. La intenció es cohesionar el barri creant un centre propi al voltant de l’esport. Volem un edifici dinàmic i connectat amb el barri que l’envolta.
La nostre estratègia és la de dividir l’edifici per tal de crear espais públics entre les peces que generen vida, que “fan ciutat”. El projecte no és un edifici compacte, una caixa introvertida on practicar l’esport, és un conjunt disgregat d’edificis organitzat segons un eix de circulació marcat per una estratègia més general.
L’estructura disgregada permet un funcionament per parts i/o flexible del conjunt i això afavoreix la introducció d’altres usos més similars als de una sala polivalent.També afavoreix l’economia dels recorreguts interns entre els edificis d’aquesta fase i de la propera.
El conjunt funciona de manera centralitzada, amb un sol accés que distribueix els recorreguts. L’edifici d’accés es buida d’usos esportius i es transforma pràcticament en una sala polivalent. Hi col.loquem l’espai bar de tal manera que existeixi la possibilitat de convertirlo en una cafetería amb una funció més ambiciosa de relació social fins que el barri es consolidi i apareguin altres alternatives.
Els edificis esportius son una font de gran despesa energètica i econòmica. Les condicions tèrmiques han de ser racionals limitantse a una protecció contra la intemperie. L’objectiu és assolir un consum practicament nul a través de 3 paràmetres: un nivell d’eficiència molt alt, un ús intensiu de renovables i la recerca de renovables produides a proximitat. Aconseguim l’eficiència reduint la demanda energètica gràcies al funcionament d’hivernacle de l’edifici. Per assegurar el confort tèrmic, el conjunt té diferents sistemes de ventilació que funcionen basant se en les dicotomies dia/nit i hivern/estiu. Per les zones annexes son sistemes de ventilació mecànica i per les pistes son sistemes passius.
