The new project is located inside the Treviso city walls in the historic city centre and, while interpreting the theme of the "residential apartment building" with a contemporary language, it also pays attention to a concept of quality living that values comfort and efficiency and relies on advanced technology to produce and manage renewable energy, for an overall sustainable approach. The building, currently in the design development phase, will adopt the highest parameters for sustainability and energy efficiency required by the Leed Certification, to win a Gold certificate. Exposed concrete will be used for both the outer finish and the bearing structure, with different typologies and construction techniques: the building will appear as a large rocky block (grey concrete treated as a stone finish) on which to insert cantilevered white volumes (polished white concrete), while the large glazed surfaces with bronze-finished window frames and panels will emphasize the volumetric composition of the building.
