Giuseppe Ungaretti Park | Paolo Bornello
Italy / 2010
Villa Della Torre - Hohenlohe is a special place where three stories are deeply connected: the landscape and the Karst architecture, the echo of the Great War and the poetry of Giuseppe Ungaretti. The project wants to make clear this powerful relationship by building a precise path, discrete and essential, that meanders along the garden of the villa among the olive trees up to the military garrison ruins, punctuated in its stops from Ungaretti poems, almost like in a secular Via Cruci
