SOVEREIGNITY is a small apartment, about 39m2, in one of the precious Baroque cities on the south-east coast of Sicily, Siracusa. The apartment is located in a 19th century building, on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The space is divided by an indoor area, the living area and an outdoor area, a terrace about 30m2 as well as " a lumber room” which we transformed into the sleeping area, about 8m2.
The fireplace in the living area allows to live comfortable in the appartment not only in the friendly season but also in the rough season, in the winter.
The entire property was in a dilapidated state offering us the challenge to create a comfortable, inspiring and elegant apartment with a stunning terrace overlooking the enchanting Mediterranean: A harmonious unity between outdoor and indoor area.
