Fish & House | ZOOI design

The project of this majestic country house was entrusted by the owner, a young businessman, to ZOOI design studio for two purposes: the cottage and the office interior. Designing this country house from the sketches and considering the specific purposes of this place, relaxation and fun with friends, ZOOI designers also dealt with different decisions about the architecture of the house and the surrounding territory. For this reason, ZOOI specialists proposed an architectural project that could exploit the maximum open design to fully enjoy nature and relax beside the pool.

Finally ZOOI designers had to consider that the customer was also engaged in smart-home systems and for this reason they provided everything needed for the installation of a central control. The house is also finished by high strength HPL panels and facade plaster.

The terrace of the ground floor is an open space divided by a big wood fireplace and is dedicated to fun and spare time. Inside the house, at the same level, the kitchen and the living room equipped with a fireplace. There's also a bathroom under the stairs, a sauna and the already mentioned smart-home controlled system.  On the second floor, there is another bathroom, the bedroom and the wardrobe. A lawn going down under the terrace works as a pool cover.

The kitchen is a creation of the famous Minacciolo factory; it's majestic, functional and excellent in the design environments. Energy saving systems, multimedia and swimming pool are controlled by the "domestic intelligence". Other peculiarities are represented by the stairs fenced by ropes, a sculpture of a fish and a particular element that is an empty frame near a graphic picture.
