Located in the new Subdivision "Lomas de La Rioja" in the most important urban corridor in Gulf of Mexico "La Riviera Veracruzana"on a typical urban residential lot, I took an atypical approach for this single-family, three story house. Taking shape by physical and historical context this house combines the classical sloped roof of first historical houses in the port softening its angles with curves that refer us to the surrounding dunes landscape, with a huge alike porch symbolizing the entrance of the first port of Continental America the house sits as a reference point in the whole cluster; supported by white color, fine black balcony, clear glass and absence of any other material looks like an ethereal modern house. Materials used during execution are approved by Mexican norms and norms for sustainable housing like thermal ceramic structural block, waterproofing and paintings with LEED credit 4.1 & 5, Holcim concret because of carbon footprint reduction in its process.
