The upper doors slide open and the lower doors open out to provide some generous storage space. The choice was made to have 4 separate rails that allow maximum opening of the space. Between the shelves, light side panels in the shape of a Y are reminders of the branches of the tree in the lithography. In the left corner, a pivoting volume defines a ‘desk’ space. Just below, there is an integrated storage block that also pivots. The warm shade of the bamboo fits in well with the Borneo teak floor. The big white doors have a matt texture and accentuate the luminosity of the room, while merging with the walls.
