Design ideas for the equipment at the service of bathing.
The area is located in the Penisola del Sinis in the Marine Protected Area of Penisola del Sinis- Isola di Mal di Ventre.
The project's purpose is to restore and preserve the coastal landscape of this peninsula located on the west coast of Sardinia. The idea of ​​the project is to create an eco-sustainable experience.
The units will be placed in the area in a diffuse mode, according to a logic of minimal impact and easy access. The inspiring element of the module is the “capanna in falasco”, unique historical and traditional architecture present in this landscape, both for their temporary feature and for the architectural compositional proportions. The hut is deconstructed and recontextualized, devoid of any ornament and reduced to conceptual element. The idea to propose again, only conceptually, the profile of the traditional hut is both continuity and rupture, a drastic step from past to present that preserves the sign of history in the skeleton, which becomes symbolic element and at the same time architectural element . The dialogue between buildings and topography is deepened by the creation of a boardwalks system that draw in a natural way the territory, providing visitors the opportunity to discover and learn about this region.
